These Terms of Service apply to purchases made from Nuno Tomás Photography and Slow Light Club.

By placing an order, you agree to these Terms and to the policies made available through the store.

Mandatory consumer rights always prevail where they cannot legally be excluded.

Products

Nuno Tomás Photography sells photographic prints, Open Editions, Limited Editions and physical Slow Light Club issues.

Product descriptions, dimensions, materials and edition information are presented as accurately as reasonably possible.

Unless otherwise stated, print dimensions refer to the final paper size.

Minor differences between images displayed digitally and the final physical print may occur.

Open Editions

Open Edition prints are not limited to a predetermined edition quantity unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Active Slow Light Club members may receive a member discount on eligible Open Edition prints where indicated.

Limited Editions

Limited Edition prints are produced only within the edition quantity stated on the product page.

Availability is subject to the remaining edition allocation.

Slow Light Club percentage discounts do not apply to Limited Edition prints.

Intellectual property

Purchasing a physical print transfers ownership of that particular physical copy only.

Copyright and all reproduction, publication, licensing and other intellectual-property rights in the underlying photograph or artwork remain with Nuno Tomás.

No artwork may be reproduced, scanned, copied, commercially exploited, distributed or published without prior permission except where permitted by law.

Prices

All prices are displayed in euros unless stated otherwise.

Prices may differ between Portugal and other European Union markets.

Shipping for regular Photography Shop products is calculated separately at checkout according to destination and shipment weight.

Shipping for Slow Light Club purchases is included in the displayed Slow Light Club price for supported destinations.

Payment

Orders are only considered confirmed after successful payment or payment authorisation.

Some payment methods may require additional confirmation or may remain pending until payment is completed.

Production and fulfilment may be delayed until payment has been confirmed.

We may refuse or cancel an order in cases including:

  • payment failure;

  • suspected fraud;

  • manifest pricing or technical error;

  • inability to fulfil the product; or

  • circumstances where fulfilling the order would be unlawful.

If we cancel a paid order because we cannot fulfil it, the relevant payment will be refunded.

Made-to-order production

Most photographic products are produced after an order has been received.

Production time is separate from shipping transit time.

Made-to-order production may begin shortly after payment confirmation.

Our Return and Refund Policy explains the rules applicable to cancellations and returns.

Slow Light Club

Slow Light Club can be purchased in two ways:

Join the Club — a recurring monthly membership.

One Month Only — a single purchase with no recurring billing.

Only an active Join the Club membership grants active-member benefits.

These may include:

  • 10% off eligible Open Edition prints;

  • early access to selected print collections;

  • member-only archive or behind-the-print content; and

  • milestone benefits based on valid paid membership cycles.

Benefits are personal, non-transferable and have no cash value.

Benefits may be changed, replaced or discontinued where reasonably necessary, without removing benefits already earned and expressly granted.

Orders and fulfilment

The customer is responsible for providing accurate delivery and contact information.

We may contact you where information is missing or appears incorrect.

Once an order has entered production or fulfilment, changes may no longer be possible.

Shipping

We currently ship only to supported destinations in Portugal and the European Union.

The list of available destinations shown at checkout is definitive.

Returns and cancellations

We do not offer voluntary returns, exchanges or cancellations for change of mind.

Where mandatory consumer rights apply, they remain unaffected.

Products that legally qualify as being made according to customer specifications or clearly personalised may be excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal.

Website availability

We may update products, prices, availability, content and functionality where reasonably necessary.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the website.

Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by Portuguese law.

Consumers resident in another European Union country retain any mandatory consumer protection afforded to them by applicable law in their country of residence.
